A Note from Gerry

Time and again, I cry out in frustration as events in my life leave me feeling out of control and afraid. Marriage, child raising, divorce, grandchildren, and remarriage to a man I met on the Internet represent just a few of the times in my life where I needed help.

Yet, at each turn God calmed my worried heart and assured me of His love and presence. I learned that rather than running full speed ahead it is often better to wait, not passively but actively, for God’s leading.

Jeremiah 29:11 offers a promise, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Now those are plans I don’t want to miss!
